Growing up in the Washington D.C. area, I was impacted by the magnitude of historical conservation in the form of monuments. I strive to create work that is alive with tangible connections to the past, present and future. Timeless sculpture in sustainable materials has remained as a constant motivation for my work. My public and private works cover a diverse range and scale of media, continuously blending monumental aesthetics with a personal touch. Art is a visual language and I want to connect people to the land, to natural materials and to a place where they can feel safe, peaceful and inspired through the power of the Holy Spirit.
